Monkey 47 | Pop up bar

How do you create a one-of-a-kind experience that blends gin, music, and culture?

Monkey 47 answered with a five-week pop-up bar in Berlin Kreuzberg, featuring an extraordinary program. The pop-up showcased live performances by Larry, Jesper Munk, and Shelter Boy, along with readings by author Thorsten Nagelschmidt. Visitors enjoyed after-work talks, exclusive gin tastings, and the launch of the very limited Monkey 47 Experimentum gin.

The event was promoted with a massive mural in Kreuzberg, nostalgic “paper boy” street promotions, and social media ads, making the Monkey 47 pop-up a cultural highlight in the heart of Berlin.

The project began with receiving a pitch briefing from the client, followed by close collaboration with the creative department to develop an outstanding pitch presentation. After securing the project, an extensive location scouting process was undertaken, reviewing nearly 50 potential venues in Berlin. Contract negotiations were successfully concluded with the most suitable bar. The next phase involved creative development of the look and feel, identifying and coordinating with various suppliers, including shelf builders, graffiti artists, and the bar team. The bar was fully renovated to align with the brand’s CI. Additionally, a curated program was developed to elevate the experience. The project also involved daily income accounting, client management, and regular reporting to ensure seamless execution.
